Welcome to Music Monday! As many of you know, music contributes a great deal to my writing process. Whether it’s a song’s lyrics, beat, rhythm, or tone, I find myself constantly inspired by it.

If you’d like to give “Laserlight” a listen, here you go!
What song(s) are you in love with right now? Which one(s) offer you inspiration? Let me know! I’m always searching for songs that motivate my writing.

Jessie J is one of my “go-to” favs for writing music. Mainly because I’m a big fan and I’ve listened enough to her songs to be able to have it as background without the her singing throwing my train of thought off the tracks. lol If I’m looking for something deep I like her “Big White Room” and “Who You Are”. If I’m looking for some motivation for a get even scene its “Who’s Laughing Now” or an I’m sorry scene, “Nobody’s perfect” or for something raunchy I turn to “Do It Like A Dude” but If its a sex scene or just a general hard core sexy feeling I usually turn towards Rihanna or Beyonce 🙂
